Starsky is a 5 yr. old Malamute/Aussie picked up as a stray. His brother was selected for the Carroll College animal program so he is quit lonesome at the shelter. Like Hutch Starsky has the same personality. He's mellow, gentle and simply a pleasure to be around. He does good with most dogs and would good with most kids. Starsky is low energy as he's just an easy keeper. He walks well on a leash and knows some of his commands. He's a dog who sticks out as very desirable if you love a hassle free dog. Meet Tucker a 1 to 2 yr. old black Lab picked up as a stray. Tucker is not a fan of being in a shelter and will decline quickly due to his high energy, puppy like demeanor. He's young and loves to play with his people and toys. He also enjoys the outdoors and loves to hike, run and go for car rides. Tucker does jump up and occasionally does some soft mouthing but he is started working with some clicker training. We haven't put Tucker with other dogs yet but he seems forward. Meet Scully a 3 yr. old Boxer X turned in due to her owners were moving. She is accompanied by her sidekick Isabeau! Scully is a very beautiful Boxer and she's so well mannered it's comical. She sits in her kennel like a little princess not barking or carrying on like the rest of the gang. She's laid back and mellow with such a calming demeanor. Meet Isabeau a 4 yr. old gorgeous white German Shepherd ! Isabeau was an owner turn in due to her parents moving. Funny thing is her spirits are not broken as she's a happy go lucky girl who loves to live on the playful side! Isabeau loves to sport a few play bows to get the fun moving and she's spunky and energetic! She loves to play with people and other dogs and will be cat tested soon. Midnight is 1 yr. old beautiful purebred Tree Walker Coon Hound turned in for his jumping up with excitement. Midnight is one of the most beautiful dogs i've seen due to his lustrous, black shiny coat! I have to say he is absolutely gorgeous! If your wondering whats on his face well it's not slobber, paint or lint! Funny enough we've had several people try and wipe his face off but the white you see in the picture is truly fur! The most unique markings i've seen yet! Midnight is young at heart and he loves to play with people. He's good with people, strangers and kids however, he does do some jumping up so kids over 10 are suggested. ... (Read More)Midnight is a well mannered boy and he prefers to be a little quieter in personality than most. He walks beautifully on a leash and knows some of his commands. He does well with some dogs but cannot live with cats or small animals. He's a moderate energy dog and would love to be off hunting in the Montana Hills. Meet Poker a 1 yr. old possibly younger pup rescued from the reservation. Poker is on the small side most likely a mix of Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog. Now when looking at that Poker face it's hard to tell what's inside. Is he serious or full of fun? Meet Drifter a 2 yr. old Terrier X turned in for getting out of their yard. Drifter does have a knack for scaling chain link but when he's in a home with different fencing and a happy environment he has no desires to leave at all in fact he sticks close to you. Drifter can live with his dogs meaning dogs he gets use too but is reactive to most dogs outside of his house but with his dogs he is best buddies. Drifter is often made fun of on a daily basis. Meet Allison a 2 yr. old Pit rescued from the reservation. Allison is one of the friendliest Pit's I've ever seen with people. She literally will give you every ounce of attention to you including her tail wags and body wiggles. She's just an absolute love and she gets very high marks for delivering affection. Allison is young and very puppy like so she does do some jumping up. She's also a bit submissive with her people. Coco is a very relaxed and submissive dog in fact I she just sits in her kennel watching all of the other orangutangs going bonkers while she sits there calm, cool and collect. She's a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly. She's a low energy dog with a quiet wallflower personality. She doesn't need to be noticed and she prefers to be out of the spotlight. Meet Tina a 2 yr. old Rottweiler cross relinquished because she would leave her home and go exploring and the owner is not interested in paying her fines. In her next home she will have to go to a home with a secure fence where she won't wander off. A very sweet lady turned Tina in as she was out exploring and even kept her over night. She even took her to the dog park and said she did beautifully with her dogs and the dogs at the dog park.
